Many people seem to think that this fascination with essential oils and their healing powers is a fairly new thing, however it goes back thousands of years. I wanted to share with you this article about Turkey and it’s history with essential oils.
Have a read of the above article if it interests you and drop a comment below to let me know your thoughts and if aromatherapy is a part of your lifestyle, do you have a particular scent that you need to have for your morning shower to get you going? Do you like to use lavender or anything else to help you sleep, do you have a scent that you need to give you a mid afternoon boost? Let me know, I’d love to hear how you use essential oils.
If aromatherapy isn’t something you currently use but would like to and aren’t sure how to, comment below and I’ll give you some tips on what might be some good oils to buy to start out, there are some great all rounders that I would recommend always having, I would be happy to help you find the ones that would be great to bring into your life.
You can of course make your own essential oils using different methods but unless you have a laboratory, it’s easier to buy them ready extracted, I would always recommend finding yourself a good organic supplier, you then know that all you have is the pure essential oil and there’s no chance of any manmade chemicals interfering with the work of the oil.
